The Dragon

Each year El Campello celebrates the Fiesta of the Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of fishermen, giving thanks to the protection she gives them during their difficult journey on the sea.

Part of the celebration is a massive pyrotechnic display along Calle Sant Pere with a fearsome dragon and its minders.
